SPEEDWAY IS MY LIFE!
In Australia we have a fantastic speedway following. In fact we race just about everything and anything. As a young boy my introduction to speedway
racing was in a timber box with race ball bearings for wheels and boy did it fly.
I introduced many a friend to my billy cart speeway racing, our track was the local shopping centre concrete footpaths. A bunch of us would get together every
Sunday when the shops were closed and race down the slops to finish at the bottom of the hills in great wheel spins. "DID WE COME OFF? Many times!
Skin seemed to be missing from all over me sometimes, but it was great fun.
During my speedway career I have pit crewed for drivers such as. Terry Becker, Brian Callaghan & Rhys Marchant.
I have written for many speedway publications, newspapers and have been privleged to have taken photos at many many speedways around the country, New Zealand,
America, and England.
"Not many have driven around such famous speedways as Daytona, Talledaga and Indy, Eldora, Knoxville and my beloved Parramatta City Raceway,

I am very honoured to tell you all that I met many years ago and have become good friends with Sammy Swindell and his family. To this day we are still in touch and
its been great.
These days I still gain lots of pleasure much enjoyment driving and showing restored replicas. I often take car shows to shows. The most recent Brian Callaghan
fully restored replica Torana, A GREAT CAR!
To raise funds for sick kids has also been a part of my life for just on 20 years now and is rewarding to see the smiles on the kids faces when you visit
outback towns. During these years I can be proud to say that I have helped raise over $1.00 million for Variety the Childrens Charity and now Camp Quality.
I have built this website for all the speedway fans in Australia and around the globe to enjoy.
The site already contains heaps of speedway information and galleries of photos I have taken over the years. I will continue to add more and more speedway content
and information over the coming months.
While speedway will always be the main theme to the website I also intend to build pages on Aussie Street Cars and would be interested in receiving your photos
and history of your carsor for the matter any old speedway photos would be great to place inthe site too.
There will also be a number of spaces available for those of you that would like to advertise their businesses on the site.
